Ooe (Asia English; Switch) – Price, Release Date, Where to (Pre-)Order

Ooe for Nintendo Switch

Ooe is a Showa-era closed-circle mystery horror visual novel set on an isolated island, where nine mourners—each hiding their own secrets—become trapped alongside detective Osaki and must unravel the truth behind a murdered servant and the mysterious death of actress An Ooe.

Set in 1955 during the Showa Era, Ooe takes place on the remote Ooe Island, where a group of mourners gathers for the second anniversary memorial service of actress An Ooe. Osaki, a young detective, attends in place of his client Shizuma Daiba, only to find an abandoned fishing village, an absent host, and guests who appear to distrust one another. When a servant is found murdered, the memorial gathering descends into paranoia as the remaining guests attempt to identify the killer while uncovering the secrets connecting them to An Ooe and the island. Combining mystery, horror, romance, and a classic closed-circle setting, Ooe places nine criminal mourners at the center of an increasingly dangerous investigation.
